Junior Update

Despite the atrocious weather so far during the summer holidays it has been great to see so many of the juniors out on the course and competing in competitions both here at Arbroath and also away at other local venues. 

Nathan’s coaching has been going well with a nice mix of older and younger kids involved. The plan for the you get ones is to get them hitting balls as often as possible and slowly work on technique. Also to get them o to the golf course as much as possible making use of the Junior Blue tees that are out there. 

With our older juniors it’s a little different, where Nathan will work on technique and course management and aim to lower their handicaps over the rest of the season. 

We also have The Junior Links Championship up and running! We organised a qualifier which took place a week past Sunday. From that we now have a Matchplay Knockout format in place which will ultimately lead to a final and an overall winner and Arbroath Links Junior Champion!
