On Sunday, I hosted my first ever event in the hopes of raising some funds to help with paying for upcoming tournaments and travel. It turned out to be a great day with 92 players and a bit of a different format. The winners are as follows;
1st Nett Team Winner- Ricky Dewars, Sean McGruer, Kyle Brown and Ryley Thomson with 100 points.
2nd Nett Team score- Alan Mowatt, Gareth Mowatt, Darren Law and Ewan Buggins with 95 points on a better back 9
3rd Nett Team score- Thom Stackhouse, Whitney Dick, David Carr and Scott Campbell with 95 points
Overall Team Gross was won by David Brown, Paul & Ben Teviotdale and Liam Scott with a gross 60.
Overall net winner was won by Craig Wilton with a nett 59.
A special shoutout must also be given to Gareth Mowatt who made a hole in one on the 16th!!
First and foremost, I would like to re-iterate my thanks and appreciation to everyone that helped out with the organising and securing raffle prizes. This was a huge help and made the day what it was! I would also like to thank every single one of the 92 players for competing, it was amazing for me to see the support from everyone, having a whole course full of people to support me was amazing, so thank you again!
