Hello Golfers,

Links and Cadman 2020

2020 Arbroath Golf Links Championships

The 2020 Links Championship (scratch) and Cadman Cup (handicap) will this year be 72-hole strokeplay competitions. The four rounds for these competitions will be held on the following dates:

  • Round 1 – Saturday 5th September.
  • Round 2 – Sunday 6th September.
  • Round 3 – Sunday 13th September.
  • Round 4 – Sunday 20th September.

For the first three rounds of the competitions, players can tee off on the above dates at any time between 6:30am and 6:00pm. After the first three rounds are completed, there will be a cut; players with the best eight scratch 54-hole totals will qualify for the final round of The Links Championship; players, not already qualified for The Links Championship, with the best 12 nett 54-hole totals will qualify for the final round of The Cadman Cup (Qualifiers for The Links Championship will only be competing in the final round for The Links Championship, their nett score will not count towards The Cadman Cup).

The final rounds of both competitions will take place on the above date, at set tee off times between 12:00pm and 2:00pm. The players will be paired in two-balls, with the leading players going out last.

Pairing you with your perfect irons
Callaway Big Bertha B21 Irons

You need to be sure that there are no big gaps between your hybrids and irons, as well as your irons and wedges. You want a smooth transition through your bag, with clubs that can get the most out of your game and not punish mishits too much.

Callaway’s brand-new Big Bertha B21 irons are the irons when it comes to forgiveness. With a wide sole and increased offset, it’s so easy to feel confident standing over the ball. The A.I. engineered Flash Face Cup and new Visible Tungsten Energy Core combine for easy launch, faster ball speeds and incredible forgiveness!

Video of the Week

This is a great watch! Join Rory, DJ and Day in this brilliant video from our friends at TaylorMade. The premise is simple: spin the wheel and hit the shot it lands on. Oh, but the players won't know what shot to hit until halfway through their swing! Enjoy.
