We hope you’re well. Whether you believe summer starts on the 1st of June or after the summer solstice, it’s great to be playing golf in the sunshine once again. One area of your game that may still be a little rusty after months away from the course is your short game. So, to give you some much-needed inspiration, scroll down to our Video of the Week and watch one of the world’s best in action. Stay safe and enjoy the read, Craig.

Member's guest are welcome... From this past Monday our Head Greenkeeper, Ally, who had worked the previous 10 weeks solo, was put on Furlough for three weeks. Garry, one of the team members who has been Furloughed since lockdown began has been brought back in and over the next few weeks, Garry and Kevin will rotate on a scheduled shift pattern with Ally coming back after his 3-week Furlough and a step towards a normal working routine for the team. In the meantime, a huge thank you to the members who have been volunteering their services, it is greatly appreciated. If you are keen to help out in any way, please get in touch. Also from this past Monday, we reintroduced members guests and visitors to the course. At this stage, we are only allowing them Monday - Friday after 12pm when the members' bookings tend to quieten down. We would like to encourage as many of you as possible to bring along a guest to enjoy the fantastic course we have here at Arbroath. |
Looking for new equipment? On Friday, 3rd July, we will be hosting a Cobra fitting day. I have eight FREE 30-minute appointments from 2.00pm until 6.00pm. If you would like to test this year's Cobra Speedzone range, then this is the perfect opportunity!

Coaching & custom fitting update |
Now available... From this coming Monday, 15 June, both Connor and I will be able to begin coaching and custom fitting again. Our availability won't be as extensive as normal but each week we will have slots available. In the coming weeks, once certain restrictions are changed and guidelines updated, my online lesson diary will go live again. In the meantime, if you are keen to book a lesson or custom fit then give me a call at the pro shop or drop me a message and I will make sure I get you booked in. Innes is currently the most promising student in terms of eagerness and desire, his only downfall is he prefers hitting them from his bum than his feet. I've told him there's no custom fitting for him until he reaches a height of 1M! He's got another 20cm to go!

Tell us your stories For those of you who have managed to get out on the course, we want to hear your golfing stories! No doubt some people are playing the best golf of their life after the long lay-off and all previous rounds a distant past. Whereas, for others, that delight at being out in the fresh air quickly evaporated after losing a ball down the first. Hole-in-one? Air shots? Personal best score? Whatever your story, we want to know! Simply, send us a message here.
