Saturday Pro Shop 2's - No 2's again this week so the pot will start at £211 for the 5th hole on Saturday, we predict the pot by the end of Saturday entries to be around £275. No pressure!! I maybe should mention that I cover all parts of the game during a lesson Iron play & Putting can both be covered!


 

Course Update

After over 40 days and 40 nights without rain we finally had a downpour on Saturday! Maybe thats why there were no 2s at the 3rd! There has been a noticeable change in the temperature in the last few days as well so we should now start to see a lot of growth and a few less bumps on the greens.

In the past few days the greens have been sprayed with a little iron,fertiliser and wetting agent. Wetting agents will assist in water being allowed to penetrate into the surface.

A little feeding to give them a boost and iron for colour. This was carried out before watering.
Hopefully the night temperatures are about to start rising and we will see some movement with certain grass species (pop annua) in areas of the greens that we have and give us a more uniform growth on the putting surfaces .

   


 

Lynx Demo Day

Well after all the excitement of getting married last week then spending a few days in Venice it was back to the shop with a bang this week! Thank you for all the best wishes and good luck messages we appreciate them all, I'm sure she will need them!

There's plenty to look forward to this month, we have the Lynx Fitting Day on Friday, 26 May from 1pm - 5pm. We still have a few spaces available so if you would like to book your 30 minute spot contact the Pro Shop Team.
