Course update
This past week has been another busy one for the Greenkeeping staff. One job that will definitely keep the members happy is the cutting of the heavy rough in time for the start of the season! The team will continue to work through this over the next few days.
The water hazard at the back of the 8th green has been contoured now with the idea being to put some flowers and small bushes around the perimeter of area. There continue to be a search for the overall source of the water but it is in a manageable situation for now. I will keep you all up to date on any ruling's etc for the season ahead.
Opening daySaturday 25 March was the Opening day of the season with the Captain Vs Vice Captain taking place. In a close match it was the Captain's team who came out on top 7 - 6.
Thank you to everyone who took part we look forward to seeing you the rest of the season and good luck to everyone for a great season at Glenrothes in 2017!
Dont be shy! Make me an Offer Rail!
I have put up a rail outside the shop with a mixture of pieces from waterproofs to shirts. The idea of the rail is if there is anything that catches your eye bring it into the shop and "make me an offer" There's no catches or small print, the only stipulation being I do not have to accept your first offer!
Cleveland Wedge AnalyserThis past Friday I took delivery of the Cleveland Wedge Analyser, this tool allows me to fit you for your wedges. The whole process takes around 30 minutes and at the end of the session we will know what Bounce, Lofts and Lengths of wedges you require.
There is no charge for the fitting all you need to do is contact the Pro Shop to book your slot and take your short game to the next level!
