Local Primary schools

My Assistant Grant has been working with 3 local primary schools this week, Pitcoudie, Rimbleton and Caskieberran giving primary 4 & 5 children an introduction to the game!

As mentioned in previous emails both Grant and I will be working hard this year to increase the number of Junior golfers at Glenrothes, we aim to run a Coaching Camp during the Easter Holidays, then an 8 Week block of lessons on Saturdays, potentially both morning and early afternoon, then another Camp during the Summer Holidays finishing off with a 6 Week block of lessons, running uptown the October School holidays.

This is open to members and non members of the Club so feel free to drop me an email with your kids details.

We also aim to run some Sunday fun competitions in the form of Texas Scramble & Team Competitions. 


 

Course update

The Greenkeepers hard work continues this week with more bunker remodelling! Can anyone guess the hole?

   

There are still a few bunkers to be finished off but the Greenkeeping team hope to have them all back in play for the start of the season.
