This week sees the start of the MOT Your Clubs Offer!

The idea being you bring in your 7 Iron which the Pro Shop Team will re grip for FREE, with your choice of grip and once you see the benefits of a clean, new, tacky grip we can arrange for the rest of your clubs to be re gripped.

We can have a set of clubs done in a couple of hours so it won't affect your daily/weekly game! We have an excellent range of Golf Pride grips for you to choose from.

As part of the offer if you get 5 or more clubs re gripped in total we will take 10% off the total cost.

3 man team competition

Unfortunately the snow cancelled last weeks 3 man team competition, but I now hope to run this event on the 18th March. This weekend it is the Club Stableford.

The next Pro Shop Stableford will be the 11th March.


 

Pitchmark Repair

After a wet and snowy weekend the course is particularly soft, I'm sure you are all aware but it is at this time when the ball landing on the green will make a massive pitch mark so it is vitally important they are repaired as quickly possible to allow the greens to recover.

A pitchmark repaired within 10 minutes of being created will fully recover within three days. A poorly repaired pitchmark or one left for a day before being repaired will take over a week to heal.

The feedback from the members so far this winter is that the resting of the front 9 greens has made a big difference in the appearance of these greens so we want to keep up the good work carried out by the green keepers in maintaining the good surfaces for the start of the season!
